I have worked with children and youth for over 20 years and as an occupational therapist I specialize in the areas of sensory integration and autism. I have treated clients with a wide range of diagnoses including but not limited to down syndrome
cerebral palsy
spina bifida
torticollis
developmentally delays
brachial plexus injuries
cognitive impairments
muscular dystrophy and attention deficit disorder. In the past I have twice run my own company providing therapy services through a contract with the state of Arizona. I also have intermittently practiced as an ergonomics consultant in multiple settings. I currently teach full-time in the School of Occupational Therapy department at Touro University in Henderson
Nevada. My current research focuses on how OT can be more involved with working with and providing services to members of the LGBTQIA+ community and I provide services one day a week in a primary care clinic focused on serving that community.
