If you plan to take his class, be prepared to read and write a lot. He's a tough grader as well. If you want a good grade, you'll have to work for it. Aside from the research paper and take-home essay parts for midterm and final, he also assigns 2-4 page essays on topics he's been discussing. He's very traditional. He doesn't use blackboard at all.
