Good

Professor Valiente may come across as distant at first. However after a semester with him, I found out that he's very easy to chat with and gets back to you quickly if you have questions. He'll answer those clearly as well. The tests are very easy, as long as you review the study guides he gives. Just memorize the definitions and familiarize yourself well with the topics.

Good

Lectures make up the bulk of the course, with some group events mixed in for good measure. He gives fascinating lectures, is open to student questions, and often discusses the material in a real-world sense, which is always fascinating. There aren't many tasks, but you'll do good if you put in the effort and research thoroughly before the exams.

Awesome

Professor Valiente is awesome. He's very respectful and helpful when you have questions. There are no assignments, only three exams, a group project, and a research paper. He gives a review, but you'll need the book. He mostly gives lectures, but he makes them very interesting and is quite relaxed.
