Poor
Prof. Powell is an amazing guy, but I don't think he did a good job this semester. Exam scores are usually low because of his tough grading criteria. Instead of requiring us to make scrap cardboard pieces sort marbles, he made us do a small robot group project.
Poor
Professor Powell has an extremely unorganized class. He shows up to class and has no idea what is going on. He will give a short ten minute lecture that covers multiple chapters out of the book, which he then expects that you understand everything fluently.
Average
Doctor Powell was a pretty good teacher. However, because of the curriculum, the class itself was awful. He taught the material pretty well, in a way that's different than Phys 218. The problem is, he relied on his teacher assistants to grade a lot of work. This means that how you do on an assignment will depend on whose grading it.
