Awful
Veres is an awful human. He presents his work in a simple manner. He gives boring lectures, pop quizzes, dry humor, tough grader and attendance/participation is the grade. I do not recommend. Drop the class if you get him.

This class was lecture heavy and he really pushes some difficult material. Class participation is required. He can be rude sometimes and acts like he is better than everyone in the room. He is available outside of class. He gives tough quizzes and exams.

Prof. Veres' class is very lecture heavy. He's friendly but he's quite a tough grader. To pass, you have to do well on the few assignments. If you decide to miss class, he would deduct participation points which also cost a lot.
Awful
To do even a passing grade on his exam, you'll need to do more than just study; you'll need to read the textbook and take thorough notes. Even if you can't find the answer in your notes or book, and it wasn't discussed in lecture, don't use Google to help with homework. He has nothing else to do than keep track of whether or not you "cheated." Too difficult for a 100-level course!
