A hierarchical streamline-assisted history matching approach is presented. Two step procedure with global and local calibrations. A genetic algorithm is used for global parameter calibration. A streamline sensitivity-based method is used for local parameter calibration. Geologic realism is preserved by ensuring minimum changes in local calibration.
