Awful

In his class, you really have to read every night because you will most likely have a quiz at the end of the class. He even makes you write tons of papers throughout the semester and does not seem to sympathize with his students. He's very passionate about fiction, but he can be very strict. I wouldn't recommend taking him.

Overall, Prof. Walonen is a nice guy. He clearly knows his stuff. However, I wouldn't suggest taking his class if you are not willing to do the work.
