Earned a $10,000 grant to develop and implement an assessment of plant community ecology at Crane Hollow Nature Preserve. My research focused on mapping plant communities in a GIS, evaluating floristic quality using a Floristic Quality Assessment Index (FQAI), Classifying plant communities using state and national (Nature Serve) systems, and developing a database of vegetation and environmental characteristics.

Taught Bachelor-level Introduction to Biology and Biology II for the Biological Sciences department at Ohio University. I was responsible for presenting biology lab coursework on a daily basis, proctoring exams, and grading tests, quizzes and homework.
