  Vice President & Global Head of Immunology Research

  During 11 years with Sanofi, held positions of increasing responsibility within R&D, ranging from Director through Vice President. Most recently, responsible for the strategic and operational direction of the Immuno-inflammation TSU’s discovery research and preclinical development portfolio. Coordinated the interface with preclinical development and supporting functions. Managed a research budget of over $30M, for a staff of approximately 106 scientists, in target discovery, pharmacology and medicinal chemistry on two sites (Bridgewater, NJ and Budapest, HU). Scientific oversight of major external research collaborations, totaling over $200M. Permanent member of the global Immunoinflammation TSU leadership team and the Bridgewater site management team (2009–2012). Delivered 6 development candidates (3 NCEs and 3 NBEs) in last 5 yrs.
