I coordinated the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program Education at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, CT. I’ve worked as an Elementary and Middle School Counselor, Family, Couples and Individual Counselor and Clinical Supervisor. I am a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor in a Connecticut. I’ve served as President of the Connecticut Counseling Association and the Connecticut Association for Counselor Education and Supervision.
I received the NARACES “2011 Counselor Educator of the Year Award”, CCA’S 2012 “Immediate Past President Award”, and CACES “2004 Division Leadership Award”. I continue to teach at WCSU where I coordinate our Counselor Training Clinic, which provides no-cost family counseling and parent education for families in the Greater Danbury Area, along with enhanced-in vivo family counseling training for Clinical Mental Health Counseling students.
Emeritus Professor
Coordinated the Clinical Mental Health Counseling tract of WCSU Graduate Counselor Education Program. Maintained a full time teaching load and supervised practicum and internship students in program. CACREP Unit Coordinator 1998 – 2013. Retired July 2016.

Developed and supervised a residential treatment unit for children and teens with sexual behavior problems.
