Good
You can see that Prof. Brown clearly knows his stuff, but I feel like he doesn't get to showcase it much because this is only an introductory course. He likes participation, but he doesn't like being contradicted. Grading actually depends on your TA.
Good
He was the dean of the Elliott School and a very knowledgeable professor. You can see that he's very passionate about teaching! To answer participation questions in class, you'll need to buy Tophat, a $30 program. There are several readings, but you do not need to read them all in order to succeed. Lectures are crucial, and tests are entirely written.
Good
Professor Brown knows a lot about AI and is very professional in this course. His lectures were interesting, but not mandatory because he posts the slides. His class is graded by attendance, participation in discussions, a paper, midterm, and finals. Teacher assistants grade everything do try to get a good one. There can be a lot of reading but you don't have to read it all. Summaries do work for the tests.
Good
Professor Brown is knowledgeable about International Affairs. This course is a pretty accurate overview as well. Your grade will likely depend more on your teacher's assistant as they evaluate your work and exams. As long as you're doing the readings, doing a decent job on your paper, and participating in discussion sections, this should be a simple A.
