Awesome
His assignments are written in such a way that they encourage his students to become at least partially interested in politics, and his exams are essay-based. It can be difficult to read at times, but he is very approachable and will answer any questions you might have.

I am a communications expert with extensive experience in both traditional and digital media platforms. I’ve spent much of my career in the government sector, shaping and executing communications strategies to support current policies of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). I know first-hand how to pivot and support changing visions; seamlessly delivering a consistent message across all fronts, internal and external.
Currently, I oversee the daily operations of the EPA communications office for the Mid-Atlantic Region; a region spanning a 6+ state territory. My area of responsibility includes communications across media, events, and governments. When I stepped into this role, I immediately began improving the cohesiveness and effectiveness of the messaging. I did this through combining offices, taking a LEAN approach to streamline internal processes, increasing social media presence, implementing communications strategies for key programs, and shifting the culture to foster enhanced collaboration.
Prior to this role, I was the Chief of the Planning and Analysis Branch, where I managed regional environmental program evaluation and process improvement. I advised senior leadership on all aspects of program planning, policy development, program and management analysis, directives and delegations. My career efforts also include managing the EPA’s Crisis Continuity Program, where I directed the employee communication and notification systems; as well as serving as a Congressional Liaison, actively cultivating strong relationships with members of the U.S. House and Senate to advance EPA policies.
I have a Master of Public Administration degree from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rutgers.
