My professional experience as an educator started as a second grade teacher for four years in the Loudoun County Schools in Ashburn
VA. After relocating to my hometown
I practiced as a Reading Specialist for two years and also as a literacy coach for one year in the Easton Area elementary schools. Shortly after I began my Ed.D.
I interviewed at Cedar Crest
where I have remained in the Education Department on a tenure-track. Throughout my studies and experiences with students of all ages and backgrounds
I have remained interested and driven in areas which emphasize reading leadership
practice versus theory
and curriculum design. I am interested in a dynamic team-oriented environment that will enable me to further enhance my exisiting knowledge on new technology design and course formats
