Prof. Katzfuss is a cool guy. He will always ask if you have questions. Nobody replies to him though, so I feel sorry for him. His handwriting is quite hard to understand, but you'll get through it. Homework is reasonable and is available online. Unfortunately with webassign. He also curves the midterms like crazy.

Being a statistics major, I already knew most of the STAT211 material, but I still went to most of the lectures and I thought that he explained the material in a way that anyone could understand. He curves the tests very generously and is very knowledgeable in his field. The hardest part of this class was learning R to code for the homework.
