My position as a Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR) postdoctoral fellow was created to meet the need for a new category of academic working at the intersections of scholarship
teaching
and librarianship. The University of Nebraska’s CDRH is dedicated to fostering interdisciplinary
collaborative research in digital scholarship. In this two year position
I will make recommendations for the Center for Digital Research in the Humanities' social networking approach. I am also exploring how to use digital tools to portray literary texts as complex material objects. For example
I have taken the lead on a project for the Willa Cather Archive that provides users with a dynamic
visually-rich
and critically nuanced history of Willa Cather's \"Death Comes for the Archbishop\" as a series of material objects in multiple forms
including but not limited to manuscripts
notable editions
notebooks
translations
and interviews.
