Awesome
Dr. Dayananda is one of the best professors working on Georgia State University. He is also excellent person. He can make a hard topic easy. He really makes the students fight for their grades. Great time having him as a Physics II Professor this semester.
Awesome
He is hands down my favorite teacher of all time. He is respectful, funny, and very helpful. The main thing I learned this semester is that EVERYTHING is simple, you just need the right professor to explain it to you. Physics 2 requires a lot of work in general, but take Doctor D's class, you won't regret it.
Awful
He is a horrible teacher. He solves only three questions per lecture, wasting lots of time. He pauses the lecture countless times. Also makes the students practice in class instead of teaching them. You go home with no information, just some practice. If you are a straight A student that gets his info mostly from class, like me, you are doomed. Do not take him.
Awful
I took this class of Professor Dayananda and I did sit in on the first day of his Physics 2211 class, both classes are the same. There are chapter summaries due on quiz days. There are many quizzes and tests that you need scan-trons for and cannot make-up those days. You will not understand the material- you will just have equations, and not know how to use them
Awesome
Professor Mathes is great!! Physics is hard but he does a really great job of making it easier to understand. You do have to do your part though. You need to pay attention, participate, and work the problems. I will definitely be taking him again!
