Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology/ Pre-Health
As a Student at SFASU, I was a Biology major with an emphasis in Pre-Health/Pre-Dent. I got involved in many extracurricular activities while keeping a high GPA. I was nominated in President Honor Roll (1st and 2nd Semester), Dean List (3rd, 4th and 5th Semester). I worked as a Science tutor, Supplemental Instructor, and
a TA assistant on campus. Some of the Organizations that I was involved in were International Student Association, Alpha Epsilon Delta, American Medical Student Association, Pre-Dental Student Association and etc.
Academic Excellence Scholarship
This scholarship was initially awarded to me during high school for first year of college. However, its renewal for the next three years was based on my university GPA. At the end of every year academic year, I received $3000 for maintaining a GPA above 3.25 in the previous academic year.
Teaching Assistant for Inorganic Chem II Lab
I was responsible for a lab of 15 student. I assisted students with experimental instructions, lab procedures, enforced safety protocols and graded weekly lab reports.

As a Public Health Major, I have taken graduate courses that can prepare as a competent and qualified public health professional. I also serve on a Vice President for the MPH student Club where I actively engage in engaging and advocating and advertising public health events to the students. I currently wrote a Fall newsletter for the MPHSC.
