Mary L. Anderson, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Counselor Education Counseling Psychology at Western Michigan University. She earned the Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling at Oakland University in 2005. She also earned the Master’s in Counseling from Oakland University (1994) and the Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education at Western Michigan University (1974). While at Oakland University, she completed two post-Master’s Specializations, one in Mental Health Counseling and another in Career Counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor, and holds a School Counselor Endorsement on her teaching certificate in Michigan.
