Awful

Professor Powell is a tough grader especially on essays. She does a horrible job at telling you on what you did wrong and I barely can read her writing. If you want a high grade do not take her class. Even if you were perfect, she will still tear you down to shreds.

Professor Powell is the best professor I've ever had at College of the Canyons. She will assign a lot of work. But she's very understanding and will give you a lot of time. She does accept late work and will give a lot of extra credit. Also, she takes the time to give solid feedback on essays. I can really say that she wants you to succeed. I would recommend her to all of my friends.

Prof. Powell is amazing! I didn't even worry about this class. She's very much willing to help if you are struggling. She even made me feel good about my writing after taking her class. Last class wasn't mandatory but I wouldn't have missed it for the world. I honestly miss her class. I would really recommend taking her!

I took Professor Powell for English 101H and I really enjoyed her! It was a lot of work and essays, but overall she helped me to not be scared of writing essays anymore and she made the whole process a lot easier to break down and approach. She gives good criticism and is very caring and laid back. Sometimes her writing can be hard to read. Just be ready to put in the work if you take her.

Mary is a laid-back, funny, awesome and caring professor, she's real cares about her students and passionate about helping her students better their writing skills. You're most likely get a high grade and improve your skills if you go to her for help on your essay. I strongly recommend that you take her class.
