Recruited for the re-opening of the legendary Turnberry Isle. Beginning as the Food & Beverage Director, then promoted to Director of Hotel Operations, I was privileged to be a part of a dynamic team that transformed the service and collectively achieved company recognized results. During this tenure, accomplishments included increasing food & beverage profitability to 42.5%, meeting planner satisfaction index of #10/63 within the brand, #1 in the Company for each Food & Beverage Creativity and Knowledge of Food & Beverage Staff, and 4.63/5.0 on divisional Employee Engagement Survey. Partnerships included the opening and successful addition of Michael Mina’s Bourbon Steak.
Business Development, Strategic Alliances Consultant
Recruited to join the operations arm of the University and selected to develop the outreach program between campus operations and Fortune 500 company partners. The program's pilot began in the State of Florida and was adopted for the entire University. The results were an increased awareness of the University's offerings for corporate alliances and aligned goals with Strayer Education to meet the growing demand of corporate training. B2B managed partner relationships included McDonald's, The Home Depot, Airbus, CVS Health, and Booking.com, to name a few.
Food and Beverage Operations Manager
Selected to join this dynamic 15-diamond (hotel, restaurant and spa) and Forbes 5 Star property. As Food & Beverage Operations Manager for this high performing team, I was able to focus on the creative aspects of the business; developing specialty branded loose leaf tea, designed an MIT program for emerging leaders, enhanced amenity program, and added Asian inspired touches to the private bar, restaurant and pool service.
