Awful
Do NOT take Professor Geisser's classes!! She doesn't care to help her students succeed. I have never seen such an irresponsible professor and department chair. She doesn't check her email, gives vague assignment descriptions, doesn't grade homework until the very last minute, and her office hours are fake!
Average
She's a wonderful person, kind and compassionate, however I don't think she's fit to be a educator. I turned the assignments in and did pretty well, however she was all over the place, mostly rambled on about non-relating topics, and barely spoke about what the class was about. The class was easy, but I recommend working alone.

I am an artist, an Early Childhood Educator, and Arts Educator, and most importantly a student. Through my work with both children and adults I have found that we need to embrace play, wonder and the art of making learning meaningful. And the most effective way of teaching and learning often comes from listening and learning from the questions of children and embracing their curiosities through exploration, documentation, and the arts.
