Awesome
Doctor Penner was full of life and provided us a fantastic lecture experience. Some students may find her analogies and comments a bit trivial. However, I really appreciated her effort and energy. Aside from that, I found myself excited to go to her class. I wish she could handle all of my courses.
Awesome
This is the first time Professor Penner's teaching the anatomy class. And I can say that she did a god job. I would've done better in the class but I failed the first exam. Sadly, she will not drop your lowest exam grade. Her exams were right off of her class slides and learning objectives. She explained things well. However, she gets off track sometimes. Exams were not tricky also.
Good
This class was great! It was heavily weighted on exams, but they were based off of the learning objectives so it was pretty easy to study as long as you kept up with reviewing them and also reviewed them just before the exams. Dr. Penner is really enthusiastic and she clearly loves biology. I highly recommend her for 252.
Awful
I strongly don't recommend her. Don't take this class with her especially if your an athlete in season. I had approved an event that made me miss an exam and she signed off on it, however even though she signed off on it she still gave me a zero on the exam. She didn't allow me to make up the points, she was inflexible and unforgiving.
