Awful
Professor Barber's class was by far the hardest I took this semester. Most of your grade consists of two tests, that are 100 percent essay format and a 5 to 7 page essay that is roughly graded. Aside from that, his lectures are boring and overly full of content. His slides are too vague to take notes from. So, you have to listen to what he is saying. I wouldn't take this professor again.
Awful
Prof. Marlin was definitely one of the most frustrating profs I've ever had! His lectures were pretty informative and interesting, but they don't actually make sense when you take the exams. He's a harsh grader and he doesn't even explain the corrections well!!! Grades come from two exams only for the whole year, so good luck with that!
Average
I really like Doctor Barber as a person and as a teacher. He was easy to find outside of class. On the other hand, he is a very tough grader. He also teaches the class through several books, I think we went through six or seven. In addition, the course was graded more as a graduate-level course than as an undergrad. Overall, I like him as a person, but I wouldn't take him again.
Awful
Professor Barber is a hard grader. His grading criteria are based on a medium-term, a final, and a five to seven-page paper. The exams are all essay questions that you have to memorize. And even if I studied all week for the midterm, I still failed. In addition, I thought my paper was pretty good, and I got a D, which means I was unlucky because those were included in the grades.
