Awful

Professor Mathinson is certainly a nice guy but beware... his class is EXTREMELY difficult. If you struggled in math before calculus, this class will not be easy. He gives pop quizzes that may include material he didn't cover yet. Tests are half multiple choice (hard ones) and half short answer. He offers no extra credit.

Matheson is a very hard grader. Invest in a tutor because going to class will not be enough. If you don't get an A on the first exam, drop the class and save your time.

Awesome

Dr. Mathison is an outstanding professor and the best professor that I ever had. He do really cares about his students, very lenient on his assignments and a very understanding professor. I had a tough semester under his class but luckily his willing to help and make sure that I'm following during his office hours. I'm giving him a score of 10/10.

Awful

The thing that bothered me is, Professor Mathison was terrible at explaining material. It was very easy to lose interest in what he's saying. I usually ended up teaching myself after class. There were also lots of homework like paper and mymathlab given. And, he graded every little thing on the papers. There were no reviews conducted too. If you can, do not take his class.

Awful

This teacher is really not the best. I'd recommend avoiding him if you can. His classes drag on and are hardly interesting. There's not much helpful feedback from him. I thought having him as a teacher wouldn't be as bad as everyone else said, but boy, was I wrong. I didn't pass any of his tests, even though I'm a straight-A student. So, if you end up with him as your teacher, it might be a good idea to switch classes as soon as you can.
