A true understanding of Finance in today's world has become indispensable. There are so many ways to leverage your personal capital if you are starting out to get married, buy a house or a car and have children. We did not have a book to follow but the lectures were excellent.

You might think that a course in Finance would be death but the tests were very clear, the instructor kept attendance and gave very complete and through exams. The instructor took attendance, so don't skip class or lectures.

Poor

Professor Lengel doesn't even try to make her finance class interesting and engaging. However, his class is easy just as long as you attend his class.

Professor Lengel is great. He knows what he is doing and wants you to learn as well. His FIN 1050 class is a guaranteed A. But I've heard his Securities Trading course is more difficult and very beneficial Just do not buy the book. You won't even open it. Overall, he cares about working with you in class and is also accessible outside when you need help.

Prof. Lengel is a cool teacher. However, I would've liked him more if he made the class engaging. This class was very easy to pass though. Once you leave, you won't take away much, considering how boring the lectures can be. You'll be fine as long as you follow along his assignments and tests and show up in class. I don't suggest buying the book because it is useless.

Lengel's class didn't seem like a college level class. Everything is done in class with the professors help, including the quizzes, exams, and final. I wish that the content would have been more was in depth, and challenging.

Good

Professor Lengel, provides PowerPoints on screen. He told us that some people passed without coming to class and I believe it. Unfortunately, he has a monotone voice. Also, he will let people talk in class which was very distracting. On the other hand, his class is an excellent introduction for Finance. My credit score goes up from this course. It's a good choice for credit needed.

Poor

Seriously, Professor Lengel's class was the easiest A I've ever received. For most people, that wouldn't be a bad thing at all. However, I usually like a little challenge in my classes and this class just didn't make it. So if you're looking for a ridiculously easy course, this one is for you. Or if not, maybe you take it from someone else.
