Terrible lectures delivery. Tests are easy and they are 88 percent of the. She gives partial credit which improved average. There is a lot of web homework.
Poor
He only reads textbook and doesn't seem to be passionate about solving several problems. She posts notes online so you don't really have to attend lecture except during exams. I would honestly get an A in class if I didn't take her as prof.

Professor Vorobets was a decent Mathematics Professor. The only thing is that, her lectures were boring. She posted all the notes she does in class online. So, there was very little motivation to actually go to the lecture. Unless, it's to get information about the test. Also, lots of homework was given in her class. About three web assignments, which can be rough. However, I would still recommend her class to other students.
Awesome
Prof. Mariya is the best math professor I've ever had. This is my 2nd semester with her and I would really recommend her to anybody. She teaches well, she's a fair grader, she's very caring and kind. She's very open to questions and I feel like she really knows her stuff. You can tell that she genuinely cares about your success!
Awesome
This class wasn't an easy A, but it isn't impossible. I was scared to take MATH 251, but she's very helpful. Be sure to do the homework. I worked out each practice question and I even did extra ones from the textbook. This is really the best way to learn. Quizzes will be a lot easier once you know how to solve the problem. I suggest you go to her office hours after exams. She's very lenient as well!
Good
Overall, Dr. Vorobets is an excellent teacher. I really learned material for Calc 3 carefully with her help. What I did was complete the review and review online homework. Her lectures are effective and right to the point. I think the most challenging part is figuring out how to study for her exams. I'll take her again for differential equations.
Awesome
I took Prof. Mariya both for 251 and 308 and I can say that she clearly knows her stuff! She's pretty helpful during office hours and she even posts notes for us.
Good
Professor Vorobets is solid. She's really understanding, kind, and funny. Differential Equation is just really hard. The tests were just like the lectures. She gave us no homework too. Instead, she'll post a list of problems that is non-graded from the book, to work out to help prepare for exams. Your best way for the exams is to work out as many problems from her list or lecture as possible.
Good
Dr. Vorobets seems unconcerned, but she's actually very caring. If you ask her a question, she will do her best to answer it. She's a reasonable person. I spent a lot of time studying by doing optional homework from the textbook and going through my class notes again. Even though I hadn't taken calculus in 6 months, I was still able to pass the class, so I believe you can also do it!
Awesome
Dr. Vorobets was my Cal 3 professor last semester and my DiffEq professor this semester, and I would take her again if I could. Her quiz and exam questions are always reasonable, and she gives partial credit generously. Even if she comes across as disinterested at first, she genuinely cares about her kids and has a nice sense of humor.
Awesome
Doctor Vorobets is a gifted professor. Definitely, she knows how to teach. Her tests were very manageable if you work hard. The only thing that was difficult was the final exam. I would strongly recommend attending the weekly reviews. They are very useful and another way to reinforce the learned material. Overall, she's the best professor here at Texas A&M University.
