Prof. Maria isn't a terrible prof. She sets clear expectations for her students. She follows the syllabus as it is. She would make you really work hard though. Exams are extremely hard. I honestly cannot offer advice on that. Make sure you give your best on the individual project and submit homework weekly. She doesn't alter grades, but she will give you an explanation as to why you got that grade.
Awful
She has no idea how to teach a speech class; she teaches in the same manner that she gives public speeches. The terms she chooses are cruel and she often refers to her homeland of Norway. When you talk to her, she rarely laughs or smiles; it seems that I owe her a large sum of money. I will never take her class or recommend her to others.
Good
Professor Sviland is really cool and down to earth. Sometimes there were no classes on Fridays, because it's an online Fridays. This is the time when she puts his homework for the day online. Please do remember that she doesn't take late work. Also, the hardest part of this class was the test. She often calls people to speak, but in this class everything is fine. Overall, I loved this class.
