Awesome
Maria is a difficult and hard teacher. You will have to read and write more than you have ever read or written. Her exams are almost impossible to finish on time. You may learn a lot but she will make you work for your grade.
Awesome
I would take her again if I could, I loved her that much. I have never been enthusiastic about history until I took her class because she makes it interesting. She informs you about everything you need to know and tests are quite easy but they are not multiple choice. You just really have to study your notes.
Awful
Prof. Maria's online class was amazing. However, there were lots of assignments that we had to work on. She isn't responsive to email at all. It actually seemed like she took my time from myself and my family. She's a nice person, but I wouldn't recommend her.
Awful
Professor Espinoza-Schrock was an excellent instructor. However, today goes downright. Your involved time takes away because she assigns too much homework, reading quizzes, primary sources and exams. A group project is included as well. There's concerned of require are community service and lots of tasks. My sympathy is I got stressed, overwhelmed and tired. Do not take her class.
Poor
In Professor Espinoza-Schrock's class you have a chapter review each week and read the whole chapter. She gives lectures to add more information. However, she speaks fast and it's difficult to take notes. There's a group project, in which you need to present a book. You can choose to do community service or a research work. I wouldn't recommend this class since, it's has a lot of work and stress, added that she doesn't answer any emails.
Awesome
10/10 would recommend this class, particularly if you are a history major. She goes into great detail, and by the end of the class, you'll know everything there is to know about American history since 1877. Expect a lot of work and no grades, but believe me when I say that if you complete all of your assignments correctly and on time, you will receive an A. Start early and complete all of your tasks.
Average
She assigns so many homework and tasks that she is unable to keep up with the grading. Her lectures are difficult to follow because she speaks with a thick accent. She is unreliable when it comes to responding to emails or phone calls.
Awful
She is terrible at responding to messages/emails or picking up phone calls, but she still encourages you to message/call her if you have any questions. She assigns a lot of work, which would be perfect if she graded it, but she doesn't, and when you inquire for grades, she ignores you. It requires a lot of reading and writing, but it is not difficult; she simply does not do a good job.
