Simply completed this course. She doesn't give input on anything you turn in so you do not understand what you got off-base on assignments. She likewise takes always to evaluating things.

Professor Barua is a little bit rude. But her class is not that difficult. She will assign a surprise group assignment at the end of the course which is inconvenient when trying to contact people towards the end of the semester because this is an online course. However, just do your part and definitely you will pass.

Awful

Get ready for one of the toughest courses you'll take. Professor Barua's homework is not clear and is difficult to follow. Honestly, you have to figure it out on your own. Exams are difficult, even if you read everything in book and PowerPoints. I don't recommend her class.

Abstract: The paper investigated puffery as a mechanism facilitating the acculturation and socialization levels of Mexicans (immigrants) and Mexican-Americans in the U.S. Our paper found Mexican immigrants to be more susceptible to puffery claims than Mexican-Americans. This finding has significant implications for promotional strategy and policy.

“A Cross-National and Cross-Generational Study of Consumer Acculturation to Advertising Appeals”

“Supply Chain Management: Impact of Customer Relationship Marketing on Performance Under Cooperation and Competition Strategies”

Abstract: The dissertation investigation proposes a modified supply chain management model that is grounded on marketing theory and the concept of production sharing. Specifically

the model challenges the traditional cooperation-conflict continuum of strategic marketing management with a new managerial approach based on cooperation-competition- opportunism continuum. I investigate the significance of the new model in explaining behaviors in the supply chain management and its performance. In addition

I investigate whether the proposed managerial continuum (cooperation-competition-opportunism) is consistent with other behaviors including dyadic goals

    dependency

    power

    conflict

    cooperation

    trust

and satisfaction such that coordination and supply chain performance is enhanced. \r\n\r\nThe research design is unique. I am collecting dyadic data at 3 levels: manufacturer

tier 1 supplier and tier 2 supplier. I capture the perspective on both sides of the relationship that exists between the manufacturer and his 1st order supplier and between the 1st and 2nd order supplier (the supplier to the supplier). In addition

I am investigating the extent to which Customer Relationship Marketing characterizes supply chain management. Eighty-percent of my on-line survey data is collected. I expect to complete data collection by September 1 and all degree requirements by December 2012.\r\n
