I am an Instructor of English with the Department of English Literature and Language. My research interests include: Mexican American literary and cultural studies, MAS K-12 studies, postcolonialism, Border Studies, Chicana Third Space Feminism, and Education. I have ten years of experience in higher education, including teaching American Lit., Composition, Multi-Ethnic Lit., Mexican American Lit., among others. My goal is to help students realize the impact they can make on society by first understanding our world and selves via literature.
