Business algebra is basically a review of high school math. Prof. Ravi gives homework once a week and his tests are very straightforward. The class' difficulty will depend on how good you are at math. Grades come from homework, test, and quizzes. Attendance isn't required but the material moves quickly so you really have to keep up.
Awful
Professor Ravi does not ever seem to care or want to help out if you need help. He was never much help inside or outside the classroom. It is very difficult to understand and hear him. There are few factors that go into the grade.
Awful
He's smart, but he certainly shouldn't be a teacher. I practically taught myself all the material. I strongly advise to stay away and find any other professor. I couldn't understand a word that says, never gives benefit of the doubt and will never try to help you improve your vote.
Awful
Ravi is sometimes difficult to hear or understand, he does a terrible job and educating, and explaining material, I had to teach myself everything for the semester. He recommends that you study your homework and quizzes for assessments, however most quizzes and tests are deceptive and puzzling. I wouldn't waste your time, he is also really horrible at answering questions.
Awesome
Professor Ravi is the best professor ever!
Awesome
I took Professor Ravi last semester. He was incredibly organized with all his homework and exams. The quizzes or tests consisted of questions directly from the homework. He's not trying to play a game on you and he wants you to do it right. If you put an effort on your work and stay updated with the materials, then it's an easy A. Hands down one of the best professors I've ever had.
