    Grant-Application Reviewer

In past sessions, we discussed and evaluated the merits of each proposal based on pre-assigned criteria; the reports were then used as the basis for awarding grant funds.

    Diploma Examiner

As one of a small, highly trained, international team of examiners, I read student essays in World Literature and English Literature and grade them according to a rubric. I also submit reports on my work as Examiner, which then impacts future instruction and assessment.

I should add that the IB Programme has been gaining popularity worldwide, incl. as an alternative to the AP curriculum stateside. I've worked with both and so am not favouring either -- but this development will be interesting!
