Awesome
Prof. Hinshelwood is one of the best profs I've ever had!!! She even gives her personal number so she can be available every time you need her. COVID-19 quarantine didn't slow her down. She really worked with people's new schedules and she even gave all the tools to excel! She makes anatomy really fun!

I assist medical staff at the Baylor Sammons Cancer Center in the writing of scientific articles
grants and IRB proposals. Additionally
I help to produce the quarterly Cancer Update publication
which describes current clinical and basic research conducted at the Cancer Center. This publication is sent out to oncologists throughout the country. I also put together a course on scientific writing to train medical oncology fellows
residents and graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in the process of writing.

I taught them laboratory techniques
presentations
and scientific writing\n•\tContributed extensively in writing of grant applications and manuscripts \n•\tInserted modified aromatase genes into cells and mice to determine what factors regulate this gene in the ovary and other tissues\n•\tUsed various molecular biology and cell biology techniques to determine the regulation of aromatase expression in the ovary and other tissues
