Good

Professor De Nie is great! He is very passionate about history. He has no tolerance for cellphones in class. It is an interesting class. You must pat close attention to the lectures because it is hard class and there is no PowerPoints. Be warned there is a lot of work in this class. The format of the tests andre primarily essays and can be difficult if you do not really study.

I couldn't have picked a better professor for this class. He was really tough but was always willing to help you out. Lectures were very detailed. He gave outlines for the tests and will go over them with you if you go see him in his office. I would take him for another class if I could. But do not procrastinate on studying or else it will hurt you!
