Schimpf
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
I am the Director of the Office of Marriage and Family Life Ministry for the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City and a faculty member of the Blessed Stanley Rother Institute. I came to this position from a background in philosophy, with academic specializations in Ethics and the Philosophy of the Human Person. I now seek to make use of that background in order to establish and strengthen sacramental marriages. As the philosopher Robert Spaemann often writes, "There are only persons in the plural."
My writings have appeared in venues such as Aleteia, the National Catholic Register, Crisis Magazine, and the Imaginative Conservative. That said, I am always on the hunt for new venues in which my writing can appear; as a former professor, I never run short on things to say! I am also always happy to give a talk at your parish or to your group. If you want to see what you might be getting yourself into, check out the link on my profile to a talk I gave many years ago on "Grace and Nature" for the first-year students at the Catholic University of America.
