He gives fascinating lectures, and really wants his students to succeed. He gives more credit than other teachers. He gives fascinating lectures and really wants students to succeed. He also gives more extra credit. He supplies "fill in the blank" notes, clear study guides for his exams, and allows an index card of notes on exams!

Prof. Akiyama is a great guy. He gives a very clear study guide before exam and all lecture slides are posted online. You will want to come in his class just to hear him talk and you really have to attend class for exams. I highly recommend taking him.
