Awesome

Prof. Dang is very passionate about chemistry even though her lectures can be fast-paced and boring. She has a helper who will give a tutorial session after but it's not mandatory. I suggest you pay attention to biochemistry and org chem chapters. Exams involve writing, calculation, and multiple choice. Final and 5 exams are difficult.

Average

Professor Dang is a little flighty which I'm a little challenged by. However, she's more than willing to explain anything that's unclear. She's a tough grader but fair, Organic Chemistry is hard anyway. She's really good and will do a review on the exams. Also, she'll help to identify what confuses you. It shows that she's been doing this job for a long time and has seen all the mistakes that students make.

Awful

She talks like she's speaking to a group of colleagues who are well-versed in the topic. She reads directly from her powerpoint and is unable to adequately describe concepts to novice students. Her homework tasks are extremely difficult, and she does not provide you with all of the information you need. To get through the lesson, you'll have to read the book.
