Awesome
The best chem professor! She has a class GroupMe. Provides notes to go with her lecture Uses PowerPoints to help you. She posts her video lectures on YouTube. She posts tons of practice worksheets online. She has a Question and Answer website.
Awesome
Prof. Klingler genuinely cares about her students and wants them to succeed. She also posts powerpoints and notes online. She even posts recorded lectures, practice questions, practice tests that are pretty helpful. She gives all the materials to help you succeed. You just have to put in work and study to get an A.
Awesome
Professor Klinger is the most dedicated teacher I have ever had. Overall, chemistry is a tough class, but she will do daily participation grades so as long as you go to class you will benefit from it. She is very clear when teaching about what will be on the tests. The most difficult part is the homework, but as long as you don't procrastinate you will do fine!
Good
Don't get me wrong, Klinger is a fantastic Chem professor, but you will fail if you don't pay attention. Do your best not to skip because tons of material is gone over in class. The textbook is online and there are mini quizzes every class, but they aren't taken for a grade, only for attendance. Great powerpoints and the tests were nice. Very kind and funny teacher.
Awesome
Prof Klinger is an amazing teacher! She gives opportunities for extra credit by participating in class. Homework is worth 10%, participation and quizzes is 10%, the five exams are 60% total, and the final is 20%. She gives you access to her powerpoints and makes videos of all the lectures. Also there is review questions throughout class to practice topics on.
Awesome
During the semester, exams are thoroughly covered by her lectures. Lectures and practice tests are available online as well.
Poor
Prof. Lori is quite off-putting and she seems to only be kind half the time. She's not accessible, so I wasn't able to get help when I was lost. It was really tough. She wasn't responsive and she was very unclear with everything. I'd take someone else who's willing to help
Average
Doctor Klingler is very sweet. However, sweet won't help you pass the class. Although we don't get that much homework, her tests are very hard because she wants you to think things conceptually. If you're the kind of student who likes things straightforward without a lot of deep explanation, then don't take this class. It's way too hard for no reason.
Good
Professor Klingler gives good pre-laboratory lectures and has a laboratory assistant to help you through the class. The laboratory final was simple, as long as you understand how to use the equations we used in the laboratory, to be able to show the work. Overall, as long as you get involved and make sure your laboratory notebook looks like the example she provided, you should be fine.
Awful
Doctor Klingler is one of the rudest and most arrogant professors I've ever taken. Either her way or the highway. She's very unreasonable, disrespectful, and unreachable. She will tell you to do one thing. Then, when you do it, she will change, say it's wrong, and then take away insignificant points. She's very unreasonable, disrespectful, and unreachable.
Good
I've had Doctor Klingler for Chemistry 1 and 2. Honestly, I can say that she's really astounding. She really knows how to teach. She tries to make the class entertaining, which can be fun in a tough class. In addition, she's very dedicated to teaching chemistry. She always goes above and beyond by posting late-night recorded lectures, and worksheets. She created GroupMe too. I suggest that, don't forget to do the WS.
