    The Comparative Provincial Election Project (CPEP) seizes an unprecedented opportunity to study the quality of democracy in five provincial elections within a single month. Fixed election dates in Fall 2011 provide researchers with a natural laboratory for coordinated

    and Newfoundland & Labrador. With a view to both understanding and helping Canadians to address the country's deteriorating civic culture

    the research team will use its combined expertise to assess whether the depth of Canada's \"democratic deficit\" differs from province to province
