This class has a super heavy workload and the exams are difficult. Just a small assignment worth 5% would require you to write over 1,000 words and cite many resources. The quizzes, also only 5%, require a LOT of readings. If you can't do the assignment following her requirement, you automatically fail for the 30% assignment.

    I have taught a wide variety of courses at the University of Toronto ranging from large first year courses with 1000+ students to small third year courses with less than 50 students. My experience includes teaching online classes (lab and lecture) as well as many in person classes. I was also responsible for bring writing into the curriculum in the Earth Sciences/Geology Department for 2 years under the WIT program. I a maintained a sedimentology laboratory for several years with approximately 30 undergraduate volunteers at a time.
