Human Event is a struggle and a time sink. Teacher is brilliant, passionate, caring and helpful. If you do the work an A is definitely possible.

She is the best, definitely take her class. She cares so much about her students.

Because of Professor Barca I am a better writer, speaker, and human being. This class was hard but worth it. Before, I had never paid attention to the food system or animal ethics, but this class really opened my eyes on these topics. She pushes you to think while still being very kind and caring. Take this professor!
Awesome
Dr. Barca is the best teacher I have ever had. I highly recommend for you to take her class! While the average boost after revisions is 8%, I have received more than a 15% upgrade on a couple essays. She is open to communication, cares a lot about her students. She also asks students what they want out of class discussions rather than assuming we'd want a quiz or a typical discussion.
Awesome
Dr. Barca is the best teacher for Human Event. She genuinely cares about her students and wants them to succeed. There is no easy way out of Human Event, but Dr. Barca does her best to help and make you feel like you learned something useful.
