Good
Linda is not bad like everyone says. People criticize her for reading off the slides, but that is all you really need to know! The only thing that I didn't like about her is there were confusing questions on tests that many people missed, and she still made them count. Make sure you know top hat answers for tests, as some of the same questions are on there.
Good
You will be doing lots of work on your own in this class, so be ready for that. The exams were simple enough as long as you're prepared. See her outside of class, she's nice and helpful. She has life experience that is often incorporated into the lectures in class.

Professor O'Reilly is taking TopHat's attendance. There are four tests (the lowest she drops) and one final. Sometimes She s ' strategy is passive-aggressive and quite intimidating. She attempts to trick you into the exams ' short reply section. But there are plenty of TAs with weekly hours of office, so you can get plenty of additional assistance outside the classroom.
Awesome
A lot of kids don't like Professor O'Reilly because they think some of the test questions can be unfair, when in reality they are separating the A students from the B students, something necessary in university. In my opinion, she is a fine professor and gives all the students a fair shot at getting an A. Unlike other peoples comments, I didn't find her to be rude, she just spoke in a direct manner.
Awful
The class of Professor O'Reilly was really hard. I will not recommend this class to anyone.
Awful
Professor O'Reilly uses TopHat for everything. She reads straight off of her slides and her lectures don't help with prep for exams. The exams are way too hard for an intro level class. They require you to apply newly learned information to strangely specific real life situations. She is the worst teacher I've ever had. Her class even made me question my major in bio.
Good
Prof. O'Reilly is pretty helpful as a bio teacher. You'll have to work hard for your grade, but she goes over everything you need to pass the exams in class She also drops the lowest test score which I really appreciate. There is homework, but it isn't too difficult. There are lots of in-class questions and recitation is mandatory.
Good
Lectures were directly from text, and attendance is taken via Tophat. The tests were quite fair considering the information came mainly from the textbook, you had to read very carefully because some questions were very specific. The class consist of three exams, which he drops the lowest and the remaining 2 exams make up 50% of your grade. Provides a small amount of extra credit, however overall the class is good.
Poor
Prof. Linda gives challenging tests. She seems to only be teaching to get research funding. Her UTAs are honestly way better than her. She simply reads from slides word-for-word, but gives tophat questions so unfortunately skipping is not a choice. Her HW are often not connected to lectures. I deeply regret having taken her class! She's at least got a cool accent though.

Professor O'Reilly is pretty much what you can expect for a Biology 2 course. She's uncomplicated with the material and teaches directly from the textbook. The exams are difficult though. However, if you study very well and hard a week in advance and use the textbook wisely, you can do well. The lectures are very boring, but I recommend going for TopHat credit.
Awful
Professor O'Reilly may be competent in her field of research. However, she's a very poor teacher. She doesn't answer questions and mostly misinterprets information. Also, she's very rude and you don't learn from her. She's very mean to students with my personal experience and the stories I've heard. Honestly, I learned the material myself to get an A. Do not expect to learn what she taught you.
Good
Professor O'Reilly is not the easiest teacher. But I feel she's fair. Biology 2 is not an easy class but she makes sure we get the grade we deserve based on the effort we put in. Overall she cares about her students and is a very intelligent teacher.
