I really love how much material Prof. Yang puts into one class! She gives you a little taste of what Python can do beyond the scope of the course syllabus. Her project is a chance to explore beyond what you see in class and is where most of the work comes in. She's very willing to answer questions but she wouldn't do the work for you. She's a great lecturer!

In the class of Professor Yang, you earn your grade. Her rubrics for laboratories and projects were very clear and you know the point values of each piece. She made time outside of class, for those students who feel nervous asking questions in front of people. She lends extra help too. She understands when life happens and gave opportunities for extra credit. Overall, she wants to see you succeed.
