Teacher educator with over 25 years experience in K-12 education and higher education. Basic education experience includes classroom teaching (science) and designing professional development programs, induction programs, and mentoring programs for a suburban school district. I have also taught in a Pennsylvania charter school where I worked with teachers to integrate technology and library resources throughout the curriculum. In higher education I have taught foundations of education, adolescent literature, science methods, planning and managing the classroom, psychology of learning and teaching, first year seminar, leadership seminar, secondary methods, adolescent development, child development, and instructional technology courses. In addition, I have worked with teacher educators in a professional development capacity to increase the integration of technology throughout a teacher education program through a focus on differentiated instruction.
My doctoral dissertation examined the state of development of technological pedagogical and content knowledge (TPACK) in teacher educators as they integrate telecollaborative activities into instruction. It is my goal to continue research on the development of TPACK in teacher educators in order to provide a high quality, relevant educational experience for our teacher candidates.

Also engaged in service to on Liberal Studies, Learning Outcomes, Scholarly Release Time, and Carnegie Engagement Committees. Involved in search committees and a variety of outreach projects. Outreach projects included the Martin Luther King Center After-School Program, St. Peter Cathedral School Literacy Initiative, and Urban Erie Community Development Corporation After-School Outreach Program. Involved with students and teachers from diverse backgrounds to improve the quality of education in the greater Erie area.
