Leah Lynn Kahn graduated from Nacogdoches High School in 1980. She holds two degrees from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches
Texas
a Bachelor’s degree (1985) in Elementary Education with a minor in Life Earth Middle School Science
and a Master’s degree (1989) in Educational Administration. She was accepted into the Educational Leadership program at Lamar University in Beaumont
Texas in 2012
and graduated from Lamar with a Doctorate of Education degree in August
2015. \n\tKahn taught middle level science for 25 years in Texas and New York. She began teaching at Stephen F. Austin State University in 2010. She currently teaches courses in the Middle Level Grades Program at SFASU and supervises pre-service teachers in their field experiences.\n
