Lawrence H. Borom was born and raised in Youngstown

after which he\nbegan a career with the National Urban League. Mr. Borom received a Master of Arts degree\n in Urban Studies from Mankato State College in Minnesota
and has done doctoral studies in \nSociology at U. of Colorado. \n\nHe has many years of human and civil rights experience
at national

city and local levels. \nBorom served as Director of Minnesota’s Governor’s Human Relations Commission; \nDirector of Community Development for the National Urban League in New York City
N.Y.\n\nIn April of 2014 Mr. Borom received an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Public Service from the Denver Institute for Urban Studies.
