Lawrence E. Wilson is an Executive Coach, Leadership Professional and Diversity Development specialist. Following a wide-ranging and very successful career including brand management, franchise ownership and marketing consultant at some of the largest corporations in the world – e.g., Philip Morris, General Motors, and Procter & Gamble – Larry has worked with corporate chairmen, CEO’s, senior and mid-level management and boards of directors, bringing his broad expertise, creative thought and unique perspective to his clients. Through his unmatched ability to “connect” with individuals and groups, he prepares both rising professionals and established executives to effectively lead in today’s multi-generational, globally-confronting environment.
Larry is Managing Partner of The Wilson Organization, LLC (TWO). Spanning banking, financial services, hospitality asset management, manufacturing, and non-profit institutions, Larry’s clients capitalize on his passion to help them strengthen their leadership teams and develop the workforce that supports them; harness anger, harassment and bias issues as they affect the productivity of individual employees; and importantly, achieve greater diversity among their personnel and customer bases.
With an MBA from Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, Larry has worked in many industries and functional areas, from consumer products to strategic planning and forecasting to entrepreneurial ownership and operations to college and cultural institution marketing and advancement, including venture capital financing for start-up initiatives.
Larry’s Board service comprises organizations in education, religion and cultural enrichment, including his role as CEO of his CT-based Native American tribe. Larry regularly presents on leadership and diversity issues in the corporate and education sectors including several of the leading corporations in RI and southeastern MA, as well as Bacone College, Rhode Island College and Emporia University.

• Campaign Management: Established momentum for stalled $7 million Hartford Seminary capital campaign, drafting an objective prospectus that led to the feasibility study.
• Major Gifts Solicitation: Called upon major and leadership gift prospects ($100,000+). Secured full Board endorsement of Seminary campaign, 100% participation and three initial gifts totaling $1.2 million.
• Grants, Annual Fund Development: Increased operational funding, filing twelve grant applications (4 months) totaling $1 million. Through Annual Fund donor visits, stewarded and closed gifts up to $10,000, exceeding $310,000 ‘06 Seminary Annual Fund goal.

• Increased Memberships and Planned Gifts: Stopped membership attrition in and grew individual/family memberships, realizing a $20,000 gain. Advanced a planned giving strategy that resulted in $2.5 million.
• Secured greater corporate support: Developed criteria for selection of future Museum programs to draw sponsorship support among corporations. Hard results: landed ten new corporate members and $300,000 in sponsorships; and increased corporate interest in special events, raising an additional $200,000.

• The American Baptist Foundation supports the American Baptist Churches USA's mission and ministry worldwide.
• Re-positioned the Foundation for more effective planned gift solicitation and improved the return on its partners' investments.
• Directed the sales effort and generated $12+ million annually in charitable giving from the estate plans of American Baptist constituents
• Directed and monitored the investment of nearly $100 million in endowments, annuities and trusts in major wealth management debt and equity instruments to achieve maximum market results.

Berenbroick, approached and brought to campus Duke Ellington and his orchestra to provide additional rehearsal support for the premier of his Second Concert of Sacred Music before Queen Elizabeth at Westminster Abby, 1973.
