Laurie is both an online as well as a face-to-face instructor for the child development department. She has taught the majority of the classes available in the core curriculum for the discipline. Laurie has developed a mini-certificate program focused on environmental education and recreation leadership for the department. In addition
she has developed 5
1 unit classes designed to update professionals currently teaching in the field. Her passion currently is developing online classes for working professionals and students planning to teach young children.

and encouraging people to visit the Water Conservation Garden for the tranquil beauty as well as the outstanding examples of drought tolerant landscape options.
