Both 215 and 300 were very different courses that I took with her. 300 is more laid-back, and she was anxious to develop the course in order to assist the students with their writing. The course was a little more tough for 215, but it was well worth the money. Now that I'm almost done, I can say she did the most to prepare me for upper-level math. She genuinely cares and I actually got an A+.

Professor Schaposnik, is very excited to teach and is very smart. However, her instructions for some homework were too vague and the workload seemed a lot for a credit hour. On the positive side, she's always willing to listen to the suggestions of the class and there's group work as well. This class feels a little meaningless because it feels like a mini version of English for freshmen.
Awesome
Professor Schaposnik is the best. During the first week, she had all the scheduled dates for tasks posted online which contains weekly homework and four essays. Her lectures have always helped me improve my writing and its structures. Because of the pandemic, she made several accommodations that benefited us and was always open to receiving suggestions from students.
Awesome
I took Professor Schaposnik for her Mathematics 300, which is a writing-based class. She would give a weekly article or video to write about. And she always assured me that those were funny or interesting. The workload is a lot. However, she has all the semester's workload from day one so you can get a head start so you don't get stressed at the end of the semester. Overall, she's an amazing teacher.

I took Professor Laura's Math 300 class. She's a very kind person with a very reasonable workload. Every week, we'd writing two small paragraphs examining an article. And every four to five weeks, there's an essay to be passed. Also, we did activities in class for us students to review our peer's work. In addition, she allows work extensions so long as you're reasonable. Her grading was relaxed too.
Awesome
Professor Schaposnik has been an amazing lecturer. She goes further to do her job, and provide additional resources and possible accommodations. Although it may seem like a lot of work, her grading was fair. The class is well structured and intended to teach you how to collaborate and peer review.
