Professor Lyman-Henley's class, consists of three exams and a final. You also have to do mastering biology. And each chapter is due by a certain date. Most of the time, she reads out PowerPoint, but she elaborates on them too. Sometimes we have a spreadsheet. One of the weird things was that, she has a seating chart and she uses it as an attendance. You have to sit in that spot every class.
Awesome
I never actually used my textbook in this class. Question quizzes and test questions assess your comprehension rather than what you have memorized. You can see that she cares a lot. When we had to move to online for COVID-19 in the middle of the semester, she worked tirelessly to make the course available to us. For an assignment, she raises her own mice at home. I can really see her dedication and commitment! It was a tough course, but very doable.
